Q1. How do you think it would have been in the pre-Christian world when John appeared? A continuation of the tradition of “longing for a Messiah” or something new?
Q2. Jesus said the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John the Baptist. In what ways do you aspire to be “greater than” John the Baptist. How will you be effective?
Q3. Throughout the ages the Prophets have pointed to something new. Does that all come to a full-stop in Jesus? Is he the new thing that everyone was pointing to? Is it accomplished?
Q4. Who are your current “John the Baptists”. How are they effective? What adventure are they pointing you towards?
