John 11:1-45

5th Sunday of Lent, year A.

Questions

1. What struck me about this reading? What resonated? What did I find difficult?

2. How do I feel about miracles? People sometimes try to explain them in natural terms, do I prefer that sort of explanation?

3. Last week Jesus said 'the man was born blind so that the works of God might be displayed in him. This week 'This sickness will not end in death but in God's glory'. Can I find the works and glory of God shown in life?

4. Am I looking forward to the resurrection? Or is it too mysterious to think about?
