6th Sunday of Easter, year B.

Questions

1. What strikes you about this reading? Does it inspire you? Or intimidate you? Or confuse you?

2. ⁠There is a lot in this reading. What do you think are its main themes?

3. ⁠Joy. What do you think Jesus means when he talks about joy?

4. ⁠Love. This continues last week’s conversation. Can we love as Jesus loved? I personally feel this is asking a lot?

5. ⁠Maybe we can share in the love and life of God, just as we live our daily lives. In fact I suspect we probably are sharing in the life of God, but just need to open our minds to recognise this.
